Hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, my initial interest in photography came from watching the Marlboro Cigarette Commercials as a kid. The commercials showed a photographer standing on the skids of a helicopter, photographing a stampeding herd of horses.

Since that time, I've held the position of Medical Photographer at two of the finest teaching Hospitals in Atlanta, where oddly enough, I got to shoot from helicopters. My other duties included shooting for the company magazine, head shots, events on and off campus, and surgical procedures.

Along the way, I became a skilled catalog photographer, shooting room sets, furniture and small products.

I've also done Editorial (magazine) photography, another avenue for variety, when it comes to subject matter, location, and lighting situations.
